Our dedicated in-house tech team leverages technology and artificial intelligence to drive operational improvements and develop innovative software and hardware solutions.As part of the Technology & Operations team, the Web Developer will be working on developing cutting-edge functionality for new or existing enterprise web applications.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, automate and maintain web applications and services to support business and operational goals while adhering to performance and quality code best practicesWork with team lead and members to identify requirements, define scope, ensure deadlines and goals are metCollaborate with UI/UX team members to ensure consistency in designDocument product and project informationStay updated on emerging web development trends and technologies RequirementsAt least 2 years hands-on full-stack development experience in React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, related Javascript / PHP web and mobile frameworks, databases and code versioning tools (e.g. Git, SVN), web server experience (e.g. Apache, nginx)Strong problem-solving in operational environments.Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycles and appreciation of UI/UX practicesUnderstanding of CI/CD & Infrastructure, Cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean)Understanding of system testing, automated testing is a plusAble to work with initiative, collaborate with team members and users to meet deadlinesAble to work and liaise with yard staff, operations, accounts user teams.Interest in software development, automation, artificial intelligence and performing relevant research to solve difficult business problems, able to debug and resolve issues independentlyBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience in related fieldFamiliarity with OCR frameworksWillingness to relocate to Dubai/Oman after probation period ( approx. 12 months) if required.Adaptability to the Middle East working environment and collaborating with onsite depot/yard operation team, logistics and Accounts team.Preferred Knowledge of logistics, depot, or accounts-related workflows (e.g., container gate-in/out, billing, job orders).Ability to communicate in Hindi and/or Arabic will be considered an added advantage for collaboration with regional stakeholders.Willingness to travel or be onsite for depot system rollouts.Additional NotesThis is a full-time offshore role, the applicant will be working from India initially.Candidates who perform well during the first year probation may be relocated to Dubai/Oman for onsite opportunities.
