Project Controller & Planner Full Time NEW

Purpose: The Project Controller & Planner will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and planning project activities to ensure timely execution, cost efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. The role involves developing project schedules, tracking progress, analyzing variances, and supporting cross functional teams with accurate reporting and forecasts. The position requires strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills, especially in an engineering or construction project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling :

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using MS Project or other planning tools.
• Define project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, resource-loaded schedules, and workflow plans.
• Monitor actual progress vs. planned schedules and update forecasts accordingly.
• Prepare recovery plans and re-baseline schedules in case of delays.

Project Monitoring & Control :

• Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and expenditure forecasts.
• Track project performance against baseline schedules and budgets.
• Identify schedule deviations, cost variances, and potential risks.
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure adherence to project financial controls and contractual obligations.

Cross-functional Coordination:

• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, construction, QA/QC, and site teams to gather progress data and validate timelines.
• Work closely with project managers and department heads for alignment on project goals, execution strategy, and resource allocation.
• Support risk management by identifying cost and schedule-related risks and mitigation plans.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare periodic progress reports, dashboards, cost reports, and S-curves for management review.
• Maintain accurate documentation of schedule changes, delays, and modifications.
• Present financial and progress summaries to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support audit and compliance requirements related to project documentation.

Resource & Risk Management

• Support resource planning and allocation based on project requirements and workload.
• Identify critical resource gaps and highlight potential bottlenecks.
• Assist in developing contingency strategies for cost, schedule, and supply chain risks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹125,000.00 – ₹150,000.00 per month
