Role Description

This is a full-time role located in Mumbai. We are looking for someone who can:

• Build and run a finance function with clear systems and discipline
• Manage daily cash flow and maintain visibility on runway and burn
• Create simple, accurate MIS with channel-wise P&L and unit economics
• Track working capital across inventory, receivables, and payables
• Ensure clean books, timely closures, and audit readiness
• Manage banking, payments, and basic treasury functions
• Support decision-making with numbers that are reliable and current
• Operate hands-on and build systems from scratch

What are we looking for:

• 3–6 years of experience, including time at an early-stage D2C business (roughly ₹5L–1cr/month revenue) where cash flow, inventory, and working capital were constantly tight and evolving.
• Understands how finance supports growth in this phase — not just through reporting, but by bringing clarity to decisions when data is incomplete, and systems are still being built
• Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting Financial Statements
• Excellent Communication skills to convey financial information effectively to various stakeholders
