Role Description
KAY JAY Forgings Limited is seeking a dedicated Standard Room Engineer for a full-time, on-site role at its Ludhiana facility. The Standard Room Engineer will be responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection, measurement, and calibration activities. Key tasks include analyzing technical drawings and specifications, maintaining records of testing equipment, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with other departments to address quality issues. The role also involves implementing quality standards, optimizing workflows, and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in equipment calibration, product measurement, and inspection tools.
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting technical drawings, designs, and specifications.
- Knowledge of standard room operating procedures and quality assurance techniques.
- Experience with quality management systems and manufacturing process optimization.
- Team collaboration and communication skills to work seamlessly with engineering and production teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial) or a related field is required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or metal component industries is preferred.
