IT Administrator – Microsoft 365 (Security & Intune Focus) Full Time

Role: IT Administrator – Microsoft 365 (Security & Intune Focus)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. This role will be responsible for administering the Business Premium suite, with a strong focus on security, identity management, device control, and ensuring high availability of services.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in endpoint security, Intune device management, and Azure AD, ensuring data protection and compliance across all users and devices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User & License Management

Provision, configure, and manage user accounts, roles, and groups in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center

Assign and optimize licenses for up to 300 users

Manage access controls and identity lifecycle

2. Security & Compliance Implementation

Configure and manage:

Microsoft Defender for Business

Microsoft Defender for Office 365

Azure Active Directory

Implement:

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Conditional Access Policies

Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

Information Protection policies

3. Device Management (Intune)

Manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune

Enforce security policies across:

Windows 10/11 devices

Mobile devices (iOS/Android)

Configure MDM/MAM policies for secure access and data protection

4. Domain & Email Administration

Manage DNS records (MX, TXT, CNAME) and domain configurations

Administer Exchange Online:

Mailbox setup (50GB per user)

Spam filtering & email security using Exchange Online Protection

Support domain migrations and email configurations

5. Collaboration & Storage Administration

Manage and govern:

Microsoft Teams

SharePoint Online

OneDrive

Ensure proper access control, sharing policies, and data governance

Support 1 TB storage allocation per user

6. Troubleshooting & Support

Provide L2/L3 support for:

Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams issues

Troubleshoot across web, desktop, and mobile platforms

Resolve identity, access, and sync issues

7. Compliance & Governance

Implement and monitor DLP policies

Ensure compliance with organizational security standards

Conduct periodic audits of access, devices, and data usage

Required Technical Skills:

Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Business Premium

Hands-on expertise in:

Microsoft Defender suite

Azure AD / Entra ID

Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)

Solid understanding of:

DNS, MX records, domain configuration

Exchange Online

Proficiency in Windows 10/11 administration

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certifications:

Enterprise Administrator Expert

Security Administrator Associate

Experience with PowerShell automation

Proven experience in M365 migration projects

Exposure to endpoint security frameworks and best practices
