As a Junior Student Counsellor, you will work directly under Senior Student Counsellors – learning the art of education counselling while driving lead engagement through calls, follow-ups, and webinar coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Student Counsellors in handling student and parent enquiries via phone, video calls, and in-person meetings
• Make outbound tele-calls to fresh leads, warm leads, and database contacts – including cold calling and hot calling campaigns
• Conduct systematic follow-ups on all assigned leads to keep the enquiry pipeline active and moving toward conversion
• Invite and register students and parents for webinars, seminars, and online sessions conducted by Senior Counsellors
• Coordinate closely with the Student Success Manager for smooth handover of enrolled students and post-admission support
• Maintain accurate records of every call, follow-up, and lead status in the CRM / lead management system
• Explain the basic overview of university profile, courses offered, eligibility criteria, admission process, and value proposition of Atmia Education – SEU
• Handle initial objections from parents and students with clarity and confidence, escalating complex queries to Senior Counsellors
• Support walk-in enquiries, education fairs, exhibitions, and on-ground marketing events as required
• Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly call targets, lead engagement metrics, and webinar attendance goals
• Learn the end-to-end admission journey – from first contact to visa filing – to prepare for promotion to Senior Counsellor

Desired Candidate Profile

• 0–3 years of experience in tele-calling, tele-sales, inside sales, BPO, customer engagement, or education counselling
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (regional language is a plus)
• Confident phone manner with ability to engage, persuade, and build rapport quickly
• Strong follow-up discipline – you never let a hot lead go cold
• Comfortable working with call targets, daily MIS, and CRM tools
• Energetic, positive attitude with a genuine desire to help students
• Willingness to learn the overseas education domain and grow within the organisation
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Google Sheets, CRM software)
• Target-driven mindset with hunger to earn incentives and grow fast
