Role Description

The Assistant Manager Purchase – Sole, Insole, and Footbed will oversee the procurement of soles, insoles, and footbeds required for shoe production. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ambur, Tamil Nadu, India. Responsibilities include vendor management, cost negotiations, inventory monitoring, quality assurance, and ensuring the timely availability of materials to maintain smooth production processes. The role also involves developing supplier relationships, analyzing market trends, and preparing purchase reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and vendor management, specifically in the footwear industry
• Ability to negotiate costs and manage supplier relationships effectively
• Knowledge of quality standards for soles, insoles, and footbeds
• Inventory management and supply chain optimization skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
