Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive for our electrical panel manufacturing operations. The candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical components, vendor management, procurement processes, and material planning related to panel manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end procurement activities while ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Handle procurement of electrical and automation components for panel manufacturing projects.
Purchase electrical products such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, MCCBs, relays, contactors, cables, terminals, switches, and panel accessories.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.
Prepare purchase orders and follow up for timely material delivery.
Coordinate with production, stores, design, and project teams for material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
Track pending orders and maintain procurement reports.
Ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
Handle vendor evaluations and maintain approved vendor lists.
Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-ups.
Maintain proper procurement documentation and ERP records.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical products and panel manufacturing materials.
Good understanding of industrial automation components.
Vendor negotiation and cost optimization skills.
Knowledge of procurement planning and inventory management.
Ability to read BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical specifications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience in electrical panel manufacturing industry preferred.
Familiarity with brands like Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, and other industrial electrical products will be an added advantage.
