Peptris’ proprietary AI platform integrates unsupervised learning and generative AI to design optimized molecules, significantly reducing the need for wet lab testing. The automated platform streamlines this process, designing potent, safe, selective, and biologically active drug candidates. The platform has been used to discover Novel Chemical Entities (NCE), to repurpose or reposition approved drugs, and rescue molecules that have been proven safe in the clinic. We have a pipeline of preclinical assets that have been discovered, validated in vitro and in vivo disease models.

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to build and manage robust financial systems in a startup environment. The role will focus on project-wise financial tracking, investor reporting, cash flow management, and coordination with external accountants/auditors.

This position is critical for ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and scalability, especially in a project-driven R&D setup.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain project-wise books of accounts (cost centers / grant tracking / product lines) , Track budget vs actuals for each project, monitor burn rate and milestone-based spending, Allocate shared costs across projects using logical allocation methods, Prepare project profitability / cost reports.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting

Proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and strategic financial planning

Knowledge of accounting principles, risk management, and compliance standards

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams

Proficiency in financial software tools and advanced knowledge of Excel

Strategic and critical thinking abilities with problem-solving orientation

Chartered Accountant Or CMA , 

Preference: experience in Big 6 Audit Firm
