### Role Overview
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Operations will oversee the complete P&L for the Accounts Receivable (AR) process, providing strategic leadership to large-scale project teams. Reporting to the SVP of Operations, this role is critical in ensuring project productivity, quality, and financial performance, with an emphasis on achieving zero revenue shortfall. This position is based in Navi Mumbai and requires a night shift commitment.
### Key Responsibilities
– Strategic Leadership & P&L Management: Owns the financial health of the AR process, driving revenue cycle management (RCM) goals and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
– Operational Excellence: Manages daily workflows, resource planning, and capacity utilization across multiple projects and locations to maintain peak efficiency.
– Client & Stakeholder Management: Serves as a primary point of contact for client interactions, addressing escalations, incorporating feedback into operational strategies, and supporting business development (RFIs/RFQs/proposals).
– Process Improvement & Innovation: Collaborates with HODs, marketing, and software teams to identify collection patterns, develop corrective action plans, and innovate workflows or product solutions for the AR team.
– Training & Team Development: Oversees talent management, including identifying training gaps, coordinating retraining sessions, and assisting in the recruitment of AR staff.
– Reporting & Compliance: Ensures rigorous tracking of production and quality metrics, including Cash and DSO trends, while upholding strict adherence to corporate compliance policies and federal/state healthcare regulations.
### Qualifications & Competencies
– Experience: 18+ years of extensive experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM-AR), with a proven track record of managing teams of 600+ FTEs.
– Core Competencies: Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and regulatory knowledge, complemented by superior problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Technical Proficiency: High level of technological proficiency in healthcare IT systems and demonstrated success in project management.
– Flexibility: Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment, with the capacity for 25–30% travel between operational locations.
