New plants with superior technology came up & competitive products like cotton & Polyester became cheaper than VSF. VSF sales started getting adversely affected & now pose a major challenge for growth. Thus, there is a need to improve product range & satisfy the customers with product at competitive price consistently.

To accept the challenges of Vendors / suppliers while rejecting substandard materials. Guidance to user deptt. For cost reduction, spare parts developments, inventory reduction and standardisation. Rationalisation of technical specifications.

KRA1 QUANTITY&QUALITY1.Plan,
direct & co-ordinate the Store Material Quality Control System, so as to facilitate SFD & Power Plants to optimize and achieve their production within targeted cost and quality parameter. 1.Plan & Administrate Store Material Quality Control Systems to achieve targets. – Allocation of resources as per priority jobs. – Verify the existing system.. – Review customer complaints and take relevant corrective actions
KRA2 Ensure Product Development/ Specifications and Plant upgradation to ensure long term viability 3.Relate market requirements to improve fibre quality.
KRA3 COST 4.- Analyse and implement cost reduction and quality improvement measures – Eliminates / reduces waste generation.
KRA4 Delivery 5.Plan for on time completion of quality control checks
KRA5 Innovation 6.Upgrading the CVA through modernisation & technological inputs – Proposes new schemes for increasing Dept. profitability
KRA6 WCM & ISO 7.Facilitating and implementing WCM and ISO Standards – Ensure timely implementation of systems for upgrading Plant operations to meet WCM and ISO requirements –
KRA7 Safety Systemize safe working conditions and also the Environmental Standard 9.- Train the workforce for safe practices in SOP. – Eliminate lapses against unsafe conditions. – Train the workforce to maintain optimum parameters to control plant operation to meet all the Environment Standards
