Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Assistant Manager in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at Adani Ports and SEZ. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OHS regulations, developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and promoting workplace safety culture. The role will involve monitoring safety performance, conducting safety audits, providing training, and developing strategies to mitigate potential risks in day-to-day operations while collaborating with various teams to maintain high standards of safety.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
• Experience in risk assessment, safety audits, and the development of safety programs and strategies
• Proficiency in organizing workplace safety training and promoting a safety-first culture
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in preparing safety reports and utilizing safety management systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Additional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OHSAS would be an advantage
• Experience in a port, logistics, or industrial environment is a plus
