Job Function Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee strategic social media operations, drive measurable business impact, foster a collaborative team environment, and manage vendor relationships to ensure seamless integration and support of external partners. This role is responsible for elevating the team’s capabilities through leadership, process improvement, and the development of innovative social strategies that align with organizational goals.

What You Will Do

• Own team master calendar including weekly team meeting agendas
• Meet regularly with team members to get overviews on priorities, what’s working, what’s not working in regards to project management and collaboration and condenses into weekly status roll up to be discussed more broadly
• Serve as a point of continuity and connection across the social function, enabling conversations across different workstreams to drive the collective strategy
• Define and implement repeatable processes and standard forms of documentation / archiving across the team (Content calendar format, Database of paid media briefs, After action conversations)
• Manage special projects related to strengthening our overarching strategy, including trainings and knowledge management
• Define requirements and field inputs from the core team to assemble and complete the final product
• Drive operational rigor, governance, and knowledge management, ensuring all processes, tools, and documentation support team efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor and enable the team, sharing expertise and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all social media operations.
• Develop and enhance tools for tracking performance and reporting, supporting data-driven decisions.
• Standardize and streamline workflows with reusable templates and frameworks to enable scalable growth.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date documentation and systems to support transparency and onboarding.

Preferred Knowledge/ Skills

• Contributing to the overall planning, implementation, coordination and success of digital marketing campaign promotions
• Maintaining knowledge of digital ad trends/leading practices and applying new thinking and innovation to digital ad programs
• Understanding the evolving communications and media ecosystem, B2B communications
• Familiarity with digital communication channels (web, social media, earned media, email), digital communications software products, (content management systems, collaboration tools, social media platforms)
• Using enterprise productivity tools including Microsoft Office Suite and other project management software such as Monday.com
• Demonstrated experience in building relationships with peers and senior stakeholders
• Maintain high degree of organization and control, manage project artifacts, status calls, engagement and overall management of deliverables across multiple workstreams
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Self-starter, organized with the ability to execute multiple projects in a timely manner
• Strong problem solving skills, business, digital and technical acumen
• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, practicing resourcefulness to see things through
• Identifying and keeping up with industry leading best practices in relevant technical domains
