About This Role
We are seeking a Data Quality & BI Test Analyst with 4–6 years of experience to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and business alignment of data analytics and BI solutions. This role focuses on validating data pipelines, BigQuery datasets, and BI dashboards through structured testing and SQL-based data analysis, enabling confident data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
What You Will Do
- Analyse business requirements, BRDs, and functional specifications for data analytics and BI dashboards.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for BigQuery datasets, views, and reporting layers.
- Perform SQL-based data validation in BigQuery to verify aggregates, joins, filters, and transformations.
- Validate Looker and other BI dashboard KPIs, measures, dimensions, and calculated fields against defined business logic.
- Conduct end-to-end testing covering data ingestion, transformation, and dashboard visualisation layers.
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, impact analysis, and SQL-based evidence.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test data, execution results, and defect reports.
Who You Are
- A data-focused test professional with 4–6 years of experience in data validation, analytics testing, or BI testing.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Advanced SQL and GCP BigQuery for validating complex data scenarios.
- Solid understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, system, and UAT testing methodologies.
- Comfortable working with business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers to interpret requirements and validate outcomes.
- Must-have skills:
- Advanced SQL

- Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, System, and UAT testing
- Good-to-have skills:
- Manual API testing
- Basic automation testing concepts
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Looker or Tableau
