Senior US Taxation & Accounting Specialist (EA / CPA Preferred) Full Time NEW

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced US Taxation professional with expertise in individual and business tax filing, bookkeeping, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with US tax laws, IRS regulations, and accounting practices, along with strong communication skills to work with US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:

US Taxation:

• Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040, 1040NR)
• Prepare and review business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065)
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and US tax laws
• Identify deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities
• Handle amended returns, IRS notices, and audit support

Bookkeeping and Accounting:

• Manage bookkeeping using tools like QuickBooks or Xero
• Maintain financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Assist in financial reporting and analysis

Business Filings and Compliance:

• Handle US entity formation (LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp)
• Manage EIN applications, BOI filings, and state compliance
• File annual reports and ensure ongoing compliance
• Provide advisory on business structure and taxation

Client Management:

• Communicate with US-based clients via calls, emails, and meetings
• Explain tax positions, filings, and financial insights clearly
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships

Required Qualifications:

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in US Taxation and Accounting
• Strong experience in individual and business tax filing
• Experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience working with US clients

Preferred:

• Valid PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)
• Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of US tax codes and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, or UltraTax, or TaxAct.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks
