Position Overview
Senior Telecom Designer conducts process design and drafting under Principal or Lead Engineer or Designer supervision mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities.
The ideal candidate for the position will have a strong background in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, be an expert in Topside Instrument Design, and Hands-on experience in Engineering Management Platform (AVEVA etc)
Key Responsibilities
Under Head of Discipline, Principal or Lead Telecom Engineer or Designer’s supervision,
- Conduct Instrument Design and Drafting and 3D Modeling
- Develop Instrument Design Database in Engineering Management Platform.
- Participation on 30%, 60%, 90% model review and comment closure
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical / Instrumentation / Chemical
- Minimum 3 years’ experience at top-tier FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor
- Minimum 1 FPSO / FLNG / Offshore FEED/EPCI Project experience as a Topside Telecom Designer
- Well Versed with Telecom Design Tool such as AutoCAD, AVEVA / E3D/ PDMS.
- Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities.
- Good understanding in English, with good oral and written communication skills
