Job Title: SEO Intern Role Overview We are looking for a motivated SEO Intern to support our digital marketing team in improving website visibility and organic traffic. You will gain hands-on experience in search engine optimization, keyword research, and content strategy.
This role is ideal for someone curious about Google rankings, content growth, and data-driven marketing.
Key Responsibilities
On-Page SEO
- Optimize website pages (meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs)
- Assist in keyword placement and content structuring
- Improve internal linking strategies
Off-Page SEO
- Support in backlink building and outreach campaigns
- Identify opportunities for guest posting and collaborations
Keyword Research Content
- Conduct keyword research using tools (Google Keyword Planner, etc.)
- Analyze search trends and competitor strategies
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly blog/content briefs
Technical SEO (Basic)
- Perform website audits (broken links, page speed, indexing issues)
- Work with tools like Google Search Console and Analytics
Performance Tracking
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and SEO performance
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports with insights
Required Skills Qualifications
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with MS Excel / Google Sheets
Preferred (Good To Have)
- Knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Experience with content writing or blogging
