Assistant Manager – Industrial Engineering Full Time NEW

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineering professional to drive productivity improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence within our manufacturing operations at Halol, Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational waste.
• Design and optimize plant layouts for efficient space utilization, material flow, and manpower movement.
• Conduct time & motion studies, work measurement, manpower optimization, and line balancing activities.
• Lead productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) initiatives.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process standards, and operational best practices.
• Support capacity planning and operational efficiency improvement projects.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, cycle time, utilization, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to eliminate process bottlenecks.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards while implementing improvements.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Expertise in plant layout planning and optimization.
• Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in time study, process mapping, line balancing, and productivity analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Good stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Industrial Engineering tools/software.

Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.

Experience

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industries such as Switchgear, Automotive, Engineering, or Process industries.
• Proven experience in plant layout improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization projects.
