Job Description
This position is part of the Data Insights Studio (DIS) team and will report to the Manager. Based out of the Global Shared Services center in Bengaluru, you will support VCA’s regional visualization requirements while collaborating closely with both regional and global teams to deliver strong client outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a BI Engineer / data visualization analyst or similar role for 1-2 years
Familiarity with shared services, consulting, financial services is a strong plus.
Certifications in data visualization tools like Tableau Certified Data Analyst, Power BI Data Analyst is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js.
Expertise in LOD (Level of Detail), DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query, M language, Tableau Prep to create measures and transform data.
Strong SQL expertise, including complex queries, analytic functions, and performance optimization, with experience building schemas, indexes, and advanced scripts in Hadoop/Hive.
Ability to create prototype using UI/UX tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Proto.io, Marvel
Proficient in Git/GitHub.
Deliver high‑quality, accurate, and secure BI solutions by moving decisively, executing seamlessly, and continuously learning and improving to exceed expectations.
Communicate effectively with global stakeholders—summarizing complex topics, influencing decisions, facilitating discussions, and presenting confidently at senior levels.
Demonstrate strong business acumen, adaptability, and accountability—staying focused on priorities, thriving in ambiguity, and contributing creative, high‑quality work in dynamic environments.
Strong collaborator with the ability to build trusted relationships across cross‑functional teams and all levels of stakeholders, demonstrating diplomacy, flexibility, and openness to diverse ideas and perspectives.
