Cryogenic OGS Limited is an Indian engineering and manufacturing company specializing in equipment and systems used for metering, filtering, pressure reduction, dosing, blending, and separation applications in the oil & gas and fluid-processing industries.
Sales and Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing technical and commercial cost estimates for projects while supporting the sales team in acquiring new business. The role combines engineering knowledge with customer handling, quotation preparation, and project costing.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer inquiries, drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations
- Estimate project costs, materials, labor, and equipment requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for pricing
- Support the sales team during client meetings and technical discussions
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and costing sheets
- Follow up with clients on submitted quotations and tenders
- Negotiate prices and contract terms with customers
- Maintain records of estimates, proposals, and sales activities
- Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams
- Ensure quotations comply with technical standards and client requirements
- Assist in order finalization and project handover
Required Skill
- Knowledge of estimation and costing methods
- Understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP software, and quotation preparation
- Technical knowledge related to mechanical or process engineering
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Time management and multitasking skills
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical.
