Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Zonal Credit Manager based out of Hyderabad, with occasional flexibility for remote work. The Zonal Credit Manager will oversee the credit appraisal process, ensure risk management through diligent credit assessments, and manage credit approval policies for the assigned zone. Responsibilities include reviewing loan proposals, analyzing financial statements, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal credit guidelines. The role also involves working closely with sales teams to ensure efficient and risk-averse credit decisions while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of credit risk analysis, including credit appraisal, financial statement analysis, and portfolio management.
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance, risk assessment procedures, and credit policies.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make objective decisions, and perform under tight timelines.
• Experience working in financial services, banking, or credit functions; prior exposure to SME and corporate lending is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications like CA, MBA, CFA are an advantage.
