Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Python Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of backend development using Python and a passion for building scalable applications and APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a junior developer to grow their skills and contribute to exciting projects in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using Python

·      Support the development of REST APIs and backend services

·      Write clean, efficient, and reusable code

·      Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and senior developers

·      Debug and troubleshoot application issues

·      Work with databases for data storage and retrieval

·      Participate in code reviews and testing activities

·      Learn and follow software development best practices and coding standards

·      Support deployment and maintenance activities when required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Python programming
• Understanding of backend development concepts
• Familiarity with frameworks like Flask or Django is preferred
• Basic understanding of REST APIs
• Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of Git/version control systems
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies

Good to Have:

• Exposure to FastAPI is an advantage
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
• Familiarity with Docker or containerization concepts is preferred
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman

·      Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant internships/projects in Python backend development will be an added advantage
