Technical / Network Support Engineer Full Time NEW

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support

• Provide first-level technical support to internal users across business teams.
• Troubleshoot issues related to laptops, desktops, internet connectivity, VPN, access, applications, and basic system errors.
• Support live operations teams by ensuring minimum downtime during business-critical hours.
• Handle support requests raised over calls, chats, emails, or internal ticketing systems.
• Coordinate with users to understand issues, provide resolution, and follow up until closure.
• Maintain proper tracking of issues, resolutions, and pending items.

2. Network-Level Support

• Assist in basic network troubleshooting, including internet connectivity, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, and access-related issues.
• Monitor network availability and escalate downtime or repeated failures to the senior IT/network team.
• Coordinate with ISP/MPLS/network vendors for issue identification and resolution.
• Support basic firewall/VPN/access-related checks as per defined SOPs.
• Help ensure network stability for remote users and live operational teams.

3. Live Operations Support

• Provide timely support to live teams during working hours and weekends.
• Act as the first point of contact for urgent technical or network-related issues.
• Ensure quick identification, escalation, and tracking of business-impacting incidents.
• Coordinate with internal IT, network, and business stakeholders for faster resolution.

4. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain daily/weekly logs of technical issues, network incidents, and resolutions.
• Document repeated issues and share improvement suggestions with the IT team.
• Prepare basic reports on support requests, downtime, recurring issues, and vendor escalations.
• Ensure all support activities are properly recorded for future reference.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of IT support, desktop/laptop troubleshooting, and application support.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP configuration, DNS, DHCP, and internet connectivity.
• Ability to troubleshoot user-level and basic network-level issues remotely.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal users and vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure during live operational issues.
• Good ownership, follow-up discipline, and problem-solving mindset.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 – ₹500,000.00 per year
