Position: IT Hardware Executive

Location: TIDEL PARK, HIMT Group

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Experience: 1–3 Years Preferred

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Computer Hardware, IT, Networking, or related field

Job Description – IT Hardware Executive

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other IT hardware.
• Troubleshooting hardware, networking, and basic software-related issues.
• Providing day-to-day technical support to staff, faculty, and students.
• Managing LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic network infrastructure.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, CCTV systems, projectors, smart TVs, and classroom IT equipment.
• Coordinating with vendors for repairs, AMC support, and procurement of IT hardware.
• Maintaining inventory records of IT assets and accessories.
• Assisting in setup and support for seminars, meetings, online sessions, and simulator/classroom systems.
• Ensuring timely preventive maintenance of systems and peripherals.
• Supporting installation and configuration of operating systems, antivirus, MS Office, and other required applications.
• Basic knowledge of server backup and cybersecurity practices would be an added advantage.

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and common software installations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and respond promptly to technical issues.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience in educational institutions or training centers preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV, biometric attendance systems, and AV equipment will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and data backup procedures preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Candidate should be proactive, responsible, and willing to provide on-site support across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and attend urgent technical issues when required.
