Production Engineer Full Time

Location: Umargam, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and organising production schedules
• Oversee daily operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within budget
• Implement and maintain best practices for manufacturing processes and equipment utilisation.
• Renegotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation. Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
• Assessing project and resource requirements
• Monitor production to resolve issues
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
• Overseeing production processes
• Overseeing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Supervising and managing the work of junior staff

Qualifications

• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience:
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record of successful plant operations.
• Candidates preferred from the PEB/ Machine manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems relevant to manufacturing.
• Skills:
• Deep knowledge of production management
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Outstanding communication ability
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
