Oversee daily operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within budget
Implement and maintain best practices for manufacturing processes and equipment utilisation.
Renegotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation. Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
Assessing project and resource requirements
Monitor production to resolve issues
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
Overseeing production processes
Overseeing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
Supervising and managing the work of junior staff
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
4+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record of successful plant operations.
Candidates preferred from the PEB/ Machine manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems relevant to manufacturing.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of production management
Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
Knowledge of budgeting concepts
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Outstanding communication ability
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
