Job Description HVAC Head – Job Description Company: Della Resorts and Adventure Location: Lonavala Working Days: 6 Days a Week About The Role We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HVAC Head for Della Resorts and Adventure who has hands-on experience in handling HVAC operations for luxury resorts, hospitality properties, hotels, or premium residential/commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete HVAC systems, preventive maintenance, energy efficiency, team handling, and smooth day-to-day operations across the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete HVAC operations and maintenance across resort and adventure park properties.
- Ensure smooth functioning of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, ventilation, exhaust systems, and centralized air-conditioning units.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.
- Lead and manage the HVAC technical team, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure all HVAC systems comply with safety standards and hospitality operational requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, projects, housekeeping, and operations teams for smooth guest experience.
- Handle HVAC-related troubleshooting and emergency breakdowns efficiently.
- Maintain AMC records, inventory, technical documentation, and service reports.
- Support renovation, installation, and upgrading of HVAC systems whenever required.
- Ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted guest comfort at all times.
Job Expectations
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in luxury resorts, hospitality industry, hotels, or premium properties is mandatory.
- Strong technical knowledge of centralized AC systems, VRF/VRV, chillers, AHUs, and BMS systems.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to handle pressure situations and operational emergencies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates willing to relocate or work in Lonavala preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Hospitality industry exposure.
- Vendor management and budgeting knowledge.
- Knowledge of energy management systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Minimum Qualification
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC specialization.
Minimum Job Experience
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in HVAC operations and maintenance.
