Project Designer – Smart Home & Lighting Full Time NEW

We are looking for a design-oriented professional with strong architectural and technical understanding to work on premium residential and commercial projects involving solution design for automation, audio-video integration, home theaters, and architectural lighting solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong design sensibility along with practical knowledge of technical coordination, project designing, and project planning, The role requires close coordination with clients, architects, interior designers, and consultants during the project design and proposal stages.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and develop smart home, lighting, and audio-video solutions aligned with project aesthetics and functionality.
• Study architectural and interior drawings to prepare solution concepts, BOQs, technical proposals, and presentations.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, consultants, and internal teams during the design and proposal stages.
• Assist in planning integrated solutions for smart home automation, home theaters, audio-video systems, and architectural lighting.
• Prepare layout concepts and technical coordination drawings using AutoCAD and related tools.
• Ensure proposed solutions are practical, technically feasible, and execution-friendly.
• Participate in client meetings and design discussions while supporting smooth project coordination with project execution teams.
• Stay updated with trends in luxury interiors, smart home technologies, and architectural lighting.

Qualifications & Preferred candidate profile

• Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in Interior Design, Architecture, Lighting Design, Project Planning, or Technical Design Coordination.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, space planning, design detailing, and technical coordination.
• Experience in preparing BOQs, project proposals, and client presentations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and presentation tools.
• Understanding of smart home systems, lighting layouts, ceiling coordination, electrical planning, and audio-video integration will be preferred.
• Ability to understand client lifestyle requirements and translate them into elegant and practical design solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in premium residential or luxury interior projects will be an added advantage.
