Manager – Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Maintenance to join our team in Tiruvallur. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy engineering equipment, CNC machines, and VMC/HMC machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action, and ISO/IATF 16949 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of heavy engineering equipment, CNC machines, and VMC/HMC machines.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve equipment failures and downtime.
• Develop and implement corrective/preventive action (CAPA) plans to prevent future equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 standards and maintain a high level of quality in maintenance activities.
• Manage and maintain records of maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective maintenance practices.

Requirements

• 8-15 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) principles.
• Experience with ISO/IATF 16949 standards and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with CNC machines, VMC/HMC machines, and heavy engineering equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and PLC systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and predictive maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
