MAINTENANCE OFFICER ( Elecritcal) Full Time

Engineering Officer will mainly be responsible for Carrying out the preventive maintenance and also attending to any Breakdowns or malfunctions on machines during shift hour. His job will also include a constant effort to develop more cost efficient machines and processes.

Desired Competencies

Ability to take decisions quickly and drive for max output from the available infrastructure.

Knowledge of all critical machines and utilities, spares and preventive maintenance schedules, Working knowledge of SAP and excel

Prime Responsibilities

• Transformer and Generator operations and monitoring
• MV panel , DG, Compressor & UPS reading has to be taken and written in log book
• Utilities operations and condition monitoring (DG, Compressor, Bore well & ETP)
• Attending of plant machinery electrical break downs and supporting to mechanical break downs to set right the plant ASAP
• Condition monitoring of plant Machineries(Any up normality’s ,motor fan and its cover ,terminal in proper conditions and earthing in proper)
• Daily log book has to be written and proper oral/written communication has to be given to the reliever
• Utilities –Transformers, DG, UPS, Air Compressor, ETP Monitoring, Water pump operation maintenance
• Special care has to be taken to achieve the power and breakdown targets
• Defective spares to be made ready

Associate Responsibilities

• Participating in the ISO audits, Test verification and certification Validations etc.
• Involving in developmental activities to minimizing equipment down times
• Observing and learning of new implementations and projects
• Ensuring all panel boards in proper conditions.
• Timely information has to be given in spares requirement
• Ensure workplace safety by avoiding loose cable, open power points, joint cables & Proper closing of panels
• Daily checking’s
• 1. DG batteries 2.Compressor auto trains & dryer 3.water storage tank level 4.Street lights

Maintain Equipment Uptime

Assess the nature of breakdown and diagnose fault. Allocate crew or involve external party or supplier if required. Arrange for spares. Verify completion of the job and working condition of machine;

Performance Indicator

• 1. % reduction in downtime
• 2. Meantime between Failures (MTBF)
• 3. Meantime to Repair (MTTR)
• Produce and deliver products and services

Coordinate for Materials and Services

Coordinate repair and maintenance work done by external parties and ensure procurement of required spares. . Support the Processing of bills of the vendors.
