Job Context & Major Challenges
Manage the design team, providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback to ensure that all design work meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
Collaborate with the Design Lead to develop and implement the companys overall design strategy and brand guidelines.
Lead the design team in creating, engaging and effective design solutions for a range of mediums, including websites, mobile applications, social media, and email campaigns.
Manage the design process from conception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered
Work with cross-functional teams to understand their design needs and develop creative solutions that meet their objectives.
Provide art direction and design support to internal and external teams, including writers, developers, and third-party vendors.
Stay up to date with emerging digital design trends and technologies and incorporate them into the companys digital design work as appropriate.
Manage design-related projects and ensure that all design work meets project requirements and timelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Take full ownership for every detail and delivery
Ensure uniform and consistent experience and engagement across Lines of Business
Follow up on your design solutions after shipping to identify areas of improvement or newer ways to create more impact.
The Individual will also be responsible for the Digital brand identity of One ABC
Develop guidelines that consistently corelate design with customer brand, architecture and product attributes to spearhead the purpose of the company
Manage a diverse portfolio of products with a core team through agility and collaboration
Formulating and institutionalizing metrics for decision making on subjective matters
Skills Required
Mandatory: Practitioners understanding of User Experience design (UX) and User Interface design (UI). Design strategy UX research, Art/Illustration (Added Skill) , Motion/interaction design.
More Details
Bachelors degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
At least 3-4 years of experience in a digital design-related field and must have implemented projects at scale.
Strong knowledge of digital design principles, including user experience (UX) design, user interface (UI) design, information architecture, and web typography.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple digital design projects simultaneously.
The role will involve creating and iterating digital products along with the various product teams
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role. Experience in financial services is not a pre-requisite, however an interesting body of work which involves human centered design across Web, Mobile and/or other digital mediums is required.
Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management skills
Demonstrated ability in working cross-functionally to design & ship products in a fast-paced environment.
Designing end-to-end projects, both individually and with a team.
Interacting with real users on a regular basis.
Making functional and aesthetic design experience.
