ELGi Equipments – Data Management Lead Full Time

This role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide data management and modern data platform strategy. It ensures the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of MDM frameworks, scalable data architectures, and robust cloud & data integration strategies. The position enables trusted, governed data across systems, supporting analytics, compliance, and business operations at ELGi.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver the MDM and platform strategy charter
• Ensure availability of trusted data
• Enable seamless integration and platform stability
• Enforce policies, standards, and data quality controls
• Provide expert implementation and support for tools
• Enable scalable deployment of platforms and pipelines
• Build and optimize scalable, secure, cloud-native platforms to support enterprise data, analytics, and operational needs.
• Deploy enterprise-wide MDM tools, standards, and governance. Establish and enforce standards, policies, and processes for master data domains (e.g., product, customer, supplier, and asset data).
• Ensure real-time, high-quality data flow across systems (ERP, CRM, MES, PLM, etc.)
• Implement data quality frameworks and automated controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of enterprise data.
• Deliver high-impact data use cases through partnerships
• Build capability, manage delivery, and foster innovation

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance related roles
• Bachelors in computer science, Data Science, or related field (Masters preferred)
• Hands-on with MDM tools and implementation
• Experience in global manufacturing or industrial setups preferred
• Proven record of implementing large data platform and MDM projects
• MDM Certifications (Informatica, SAP MDG)
• Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS, Snowflake)
• CDMP or equivalent (preferred)
