Role Summary

We are looking for a highly driven Team Lead – Supply Chain Operations & Analytics to bridge logistics operations, supply chain performance, and business intelligence delivery.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in supply chain and logistics operations who also possesses advanced analytical and reporting capabilities. The individual will lead operational analytics initiatives, support logistics decision-making, and ensure BI solutions deliver measurable operational impact across warehouse, transportation, and supply chain functions.

This is not a pure dashboard development role. We need someone who understands logistics operations deeply and can translate operational challenges into actionable insights, KPI frameworks, and performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Supply Chain Operations

• Balancing delivery across BI development and logistical analytics services
• Setting clear goals, priorities, and expectations across the analytics team
• Partner with warehouse, transportation, control room and operations teams to improve logistics performance through data-driven insights
• Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations including inventory flow, throughput, order fulfilment, transportation efficiency, and cold chain performance
• Support operational planning, capacity analysis, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive standardization of logistics reporting and operational performance tracking across sites
• Defining and governing KPIs, metric consistency, and calculation logic
• Ensuring insights are operationally meaningful and actively used
• Driving standardisation, analytics best practices, and data governance alignment
• Leading continuous improvement and benchmarking initiatives

Business Intelligence & Analytics

• Balance delivery across BI development and logistics analytics services
• Translate business and operational requirements into dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions
• Ensure KPI consistency, metric governance, and reporting accuracy
• Lead analytics prioritization and manage business requests from operations and leadership teams
• Deliver meaningful operational insights using Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other reporting tools
• Support data governance, master data alignment, and reporting best practices
• Drive adoption of BI tools and ensure operational teams actively use insights for decision-making

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the analytics team
• Set clear goals, priorities, and expectations across the team
• Build a strong performance-driven and operationally aligned analytics culture
• Should have managed diverse teams.
• Prefer someone with shop-floor experience and an excellent working knowledge of analytical tools.

This Role Is NOT

• A senior Power BI developer doing most of the build work
• A back-end reporting-only position
• A detached people management role
