Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern – HR Operations to support day-to-day HR operational activities and employee lifecycle processes. The intern will assist with onboarding, HR documentation, HRMS updates, attendance and leave tracking, employee records management, and HR coordination activities.

This internship is ideal for candidates who are looking to gain hands-on experience in HR operations within a fast-paced digital marketing or agency environment. You will work closely with the HR and Finance teams to support smooth HR processes and employee experience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Lifecycle Support

• Assist in onboarding documentation and induction coordination
• Support preparation of offer letters, appointment letters, and other employee documents
• Maintain employee files, records, and HR documentation
• Support probation tracking and employee record updates
• Assist in employee exit documentation and clearance coordination

2. HR Operations & Documentation

• Maintain employee database and HR records
• Support HR documentation, trackers, and reports
• Assist in maintaining HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook documentation
• Help prepare HR MIS and employee data reports
• Ensure employee records are properly filed and updated

3. HRMS, Attendance & Leave Management

• Update employee information in HRMS (Keka or similar software)
• Support attendance and leave tracking
• Generate attendance and leave reports when required
• Assist employees with basic HRMS-related queries

4. Payroll Coordination Support

• Support payroll input coordination with the Finance team
• Maintain attendance, leave, and employee input trackers
• Assist in payroll-related documentation

5. Compliance & HR Coordination

• Support employee documentation for compliance purposes
• Maintain HR records required for audits and documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams for HR operational activities

6. Employee Engagement & HR Support

• Assist in employee engagement activities and events
• Support HR initiatives and employee communication activities
• Address basic employee HR queries related to attendance, leave, and policies

7. Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Department Managers for HR operational activities
• Support smooth communication between employees and the HR team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing graduation in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong interest in HR Operations and HR Administration
• Basic knowledge of HR processes and documentation
• Familiarity with MS Excel and Google Sheets
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
