About The Function

MakeMyTrip’s Hotels Content team is at the forefront of delivering engaging and effective content for the domestic and international hotels business. Committed on optimizing the overall booking experience, the team is invested in strategizing and refining the communication for MMT customers as well as partners to ensure seamless integration across the app and website. Leveraging user insights and industry trends, the focus is on crafting impactful and user-friendly content across various formats (such as, creative videos or reels, UX copies, long form content including informative travel guides & tips).

About The Role

This role requires a creative approach, a strong grasp of customer behaviour and travel trends to craft content that drives higher conversions. In this role, one gets to drive the end-to-end strategy and management of content projects while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to pre-defined content guidelines.

What will you be doing

• Create Engaging & Impactful Content – Craft high-quality content for domestic and international hotels across various formats, including UX copy, long-form travel guides, creative videos, and social media reels, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs to enhance user engagement and booking conversions.
• Leverage Data & User Insights – Use data-driven insights and industry trends to refine content effectiveness and optimize the overall booking experience.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless content integration across the app and website while maintaining predefined content guidelines.
• Ensure Timely & Quality Deliverables – Manage multiple content projects with efficiency, meeting deadlines while upholding quality benchmarks.
• Experiment & Innovate – Explore new content formats and storytelling approaches to keep content fresh, engaging, and aligned with evolving travel trends.

What Are You Required To Bring To The Team

• BA English (Hons) or Mass Communication, Journalism, or related field.
• Content professional with 3-4 yrs. of work experience in creative content writing and editing (both short and long-form content).
• Prior experience in creating engaging videos, writing long-form content, marketing & UX copies (samples requested).
• Has a good understanding of MS Office Suite, CMS tools, Figma, etc.
• Previous experience in travel and lifestyle brands will be a plus

Qualification & Experience

• Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills and very strong command on both written and spoken English.
• Ability to perform well under tight deadlines, co-ordinate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders, have an eye for error, be capable of taking quick decisions and be aware of trends and happenings in the industry.
