Handloom Production Associate – Varanasi Full Time NEW

Tilfi Banaras is a leading brand for handloom textiles of Varanasi. We work with hundreds of weavers and artisans to produce some of the finest Banarasi handloom textiles woven today.

We are looking for a Handloom Production Support Associate to oversee production planning, inventory flow, vendor coordination, and production tracking for our handloom operations.

Role Overview

This role requires close coordination with weavers, vendors, internal teams, and management to ensure smooth execution of production schedules and optimum inventory flow. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Oversee order and pre-order execution along with production schedules
• Manage inventory forecasting, production quantities, and inventory flow planning
• Streamline production processes and adjust schedules as required
• Liaise with the textile design team and track upcoming collections and launches

Production Monitoring & Vendor Coordination

• Monitor production progress regularly and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment
• Maintain and analyze production data, including loom capacities and technical specifications
• Coordinate with the Delhi team regarding inventory surpluses and product shoots

Inventory Management & Audits

• Conduct inventory audits and resolve discrepancies or variances
• Ensure inventory levels are accurately updated on Shopify and internal systems

Team Oversight & Quality Control

• Oversee and guide the work of Operations Support team members
• Conduct textile quality control checks, including colours and technical parameters
• Handle any additional production and operational responsibilities as required

Skills & Requirements

• Strong proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and tools such as Shopify
• Experience in production, inventory, or supply chain management
• Background or strong interest in textiles and handloom production
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
