Overview:
We are looking for an experienced US collections leader to take ownership of and grow our existing collections operation in India. This role will build out a small, elite team of collectors, establish a dedicated workspace, and drive significant improvements in recovery outcomes.
This role is open across multiple cities. We are hiring the best leader regardless of location, and the team will be built in whichever city our chosen candidate is based. Reports directly to the Chief Risk Officer.
Responsibilities:
Scout and secure an office space in your city to serve as the team’s base of operations
Recruit and hire a small team of elite US collections agents
Manage the team day-to-day, including coaching, performance management, and call quality assurance
Take ownership of existing scripting, dialer configuration, and contact strategy
Handle escalated customer situations
Primary KPI will be pickup-to-payment conversion rate
Experience & Requirements
Extensive experience in first-party US credit card collections
Experience managing or leading collections teams
Strong familiarity with US collections compliance landscape
Comfortable operating independently with minimal oversight
Must work US hours
Mumbai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Bangalore.
