Direct Manager: Operations Director BU APAC
Purpose of the role, summary
o This role provides hands on IT operational support for BU APAC
o You will act as the local IT coordinator and the bridge between local users and Global IT
o The role requires reliable execution, basic troubleshooting, and crosstimezone coordination
o You will also manage regional changes within IT, consolidate business needs on IT at regional
level, and represent APAC in IT Circle.
Expected Outcome
Local IT Service Support
Respond to and resolve daily IT support requests from APAC users (e.g., hardware,
software, accounts, basic networking).
Track and follow up on IT incidents and service requests with Global IT.
Ensure basic service continuity during APAC business hours.
Coordinate tests and validation with APAC business in connection with Global IT
Maintenance (currently performed during 4 weekends per year)
Cybersecurity Compliance & Awareness
Support the implementation of Global IT security policies at local company level.
Coordinate device, account, and access reviews together with Global IT.
Organizing IT security awareness activities and user communications in the region.
Track compliance status and report findings to Global IT
IT Administration & Vendor Coordination
Process IT procurement requests (hardware/software) under Global IT framework.
Track IT related costs and support budget follow ups
Maintain IT asset inventory for BU APAC
Help coordinate periodic reviews and tests with Global IT and local stakeholders
Maintain and develop regional/local services
Infrastructure & System Support
Support infrastructure modernization activities (e.g., network upgrades, hardware
refreshes).
Assist in system rollouts and enhancements as a coordination point.
Demonstrate knowledge of how to maximize use of global services on regional/local level
Required Qualifications & Competences
o Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, MIS or similar field
o At least 3 years of relevant working experience in IT support or coordination roles.
o Solid understanding of computer hardware/software systems and common office IT
environments
o Strong problem solving and analytical skills for day-to-day IT issues.
o Ability to work independently with general guidance, not close supervision.
o Strong collaboration and communication skills
o Good command of English (written and oral)
o Comfortable working across Asia Pacific time zones, with occasional alignment to Central
European Time (Sweden)

o Full compliance with global IT policies and requirements
o Average issue handling time (response + resolution)
o Accuracy and timeliness of IT asset & procurement records
Pay: ₹700,000.00 – ₹1,000,000.00 per year
