ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a proactive and research-driven Supply Chain Management Intern focused on identifying and onboarding reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and gifting add-ons. This role is crucial to expanding our vendor base, ensuring consistent quality, and optimizing costs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers for fresh flowers, dry flowers, packaging material, gifting items, etc.
• Collect, compare, and evaluate quotations, MOQs, and delivery terms.
• Initiate supplier outreach via calls, emails, and site visits (where applicable).
• Maintain a structured supplier database with key contacts, pricing, and quality notes.
• Assist in onboarding selected vendors and coordinating initial trial orders.
• Report weekly progress and insights to the founder or supply chain lead.
• Stay up to date with regional wholesale markets and seasonal price trends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, or related fields.
• Strong research and communication skills (English and Hindi/Telugu/Urdu preferred).
• Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, and basic CRM tools.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle ambiguity.
• Interest in working with a fast-growing startup in the floral/gifting industry.
