As a Financial Analyst, you will assist with financial planning and budgeting, analyze financial statements and be responsible for the support and maintenance of our FP&A and Accounting systems, build and validate multiple reports for the Finance teams, make sure various integrations are supported and maintained, and keep up-to-date knowledge of system needs for customization and integration. The ideal candidate is passionate about Fictiv, has strong financial knowledge and analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will report to the Manager FP&A.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be responsible for the support, planning, analysis, and delivery of our key financial tools, as well as running and maintaining their integration with other Fictiv’s systems.
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the planning tools are up and running and to ensure minimal downtime.
• Assist with the recurring forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close.
• Automate data retrieval tasks via reports & dashboards.
• Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new systems and new reports and administer those reports going forward.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of existing business application architecture, including integrations and data structures.
• Identify the data needs for Financial tasks and communicate with Data teams and other business partners to close the gaps.
• Troubleshoot problems that Finance’s teams encounter with Fictiv’s tools and systems, including but not limited to the planning tools, NetSuite ERP, Salesforce, and Sigma.
• Interface with external software vendors for product issues, troubleshooting and resolution; initiating Service Requests (SR’s) as necessary with other 3rd Party Vendors.
• Liaise and act as representative for Fictiv FP&A to other systems teams within the organization.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered around existing systems.

Desired Traits

• 3- 5 years in a similar role, preferred at a technology or manufacturing related business.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Required experience with implementation and management of financial planning systems such as Hyperion/ NSPB or Anaplan.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle ERP systems (required); experience with Salesforce, Odoo, Sigma (desirable).
• Skills in tools for efficiently querying large databases.
• Expertise with MS Office suite and G. suite.
• Understanding of Financial Statements and Finance and Accounting principles.
• Extremely organized with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
• Strong attention to details.
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, and facilitation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn, strong sense of accountability, and a proven track record of delivering results.
• Must work well under pressure, be sensitive to deadlines, be able to interact in a team environment, be able to adapt quickly to change, and possess excellent analytical, problem solving and customer service skills.
• Must be able to troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate solutions for system issues to the stakeholders.
