PURPOSE
To provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the technical services function across DLF Hospitality’s multi‑asset portfolio. The role ensures seamless engineering operations, regulatory compliance, preventive maintenance, and asset reliability while driving sustainability, energy efficiency, and cost‑optimized practices. As a key member of the leadership team, the role requires enhancing the operational excellence, safety standards, and long‑term asset value through disciplined planning, innovation, and high‑performing teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Operational Excellence
• Oversee engineering operations across all units, ensuring reliability of critical systems.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Strengthen SOPs, audits, and compliance frameworks for consistent standards.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to support guest satisfaction and efficiency.
Strategic Technical Leadership
• Define and implement the technical services vision aligned with DLF Hospitality’s growth strategy.
• Establish enterprise‑wide engineering standards, policies, and benchmarks.
• Drive innovation in energy management, sustainability, and smart technologies.
Cost Optimization & Asset Management
• Lead vendor strategy, contract negotiations, and lifecycle cost management.
• Monitor budgets, AMC costs, and procurement efficiency.
• Recommend refurbishment, upgrades, or replacements to maximize asset value.
People & Capability Development
• Build and mentor high‑performing engineering teams across units.
• Drive technical training, safety awareness, and succession planning.
• Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and execute collaboration frameworks with facility management technical teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration.
Business & Financial Acumen
• Support Capex planning, forecasting, and financial discipline in technical services.
• Analyse utility consumption, efficiency trends, and recommend improvements.
• Present MIS and strategic insights to the CEO and leadership team.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and organizational guidelines.
• Lead risk assessments, safety audits, and corrective action planning.
• Oversee contractor compliance and quality assurance.
Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities
• Enforce OH&S standards, safe work practices, and preventive safety measures across all units.
• Implement equipment safety protocols including lockout‑tagout and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and hazard identification exercises.
• Ensure timely closure of safety gaps and maintain a safe working environment for all.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / HIRING PROFILE
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil).
• Certifications in Energy Management, Sustainability, or Facilities Management preferred.
Work Experience
• 25–30 years of progressive engineering/technical services leadership in hospitality, real estate, or large‑format operations.
• Minimum 8–10 years in a senior leadership role with enterprise‑wide responsibility.
• Proven track record in strategic engineering leadership, sustainability initiatives, and cross‑functional collaboration.
