Job Title: Associate – Category Marketing (Beauty & Personal Care)

Role Overview

As an Associate for Category Marketing (BPC), you will act as the custodian of the customer journey, ensuring that when a shopper lands on a beauty page, they encounter a seamless blend of aspirational storytelling and data-backed product curation. From orchestrating end-to-end co-marketing campaigns with global brands to collaborating on platform enhancements and optimizing the search experience, you will be the glue that connects our brand partners, creative visionaries, and technical teams to drive top-line beauty sales.

Roles and Responsibilities

• High-Impact Launches & Brand Co-Marketing
• Launch Ownership: Own the end-to-end marketing roadmap for new brand and product launches. You will manage everything from the initial “buzz” phase (teasers, notifications) to the “go-live” conversion push.
• Strategic Brand Partnerships: Collaborate with leading global and homegrown beauty brands to execute comprehensive, end-to-end co-marketing campaigns. This includes coordinating onsite visibility, CRM (email/push) triggers, and social media alignments to ensure a unified brand message.
• Search Experience & Customer Discovery
• Search Journey Enhancement: Act as the internal voice of the customer to enhance the search experience. You will identify ways to make product discovery more intuitive, ensuring that beauty shoppers find what they need with minimal friction.
• Trend-Led Navigation: Proactively identify viral beauty trends and translate them into curated collections, themed stores, and optimized search terms that reflect current market demand.
• Collaboration for Platform Excellence
• Feature Evolution: Partner closely with the internal technical teams responsible for the app interface to advocate for and define desired features. You will ensure the BPC shopping experience is constantly evolving to meet the unique needs of beauty consumers.
• Storefront Design: Oversee the visual merchandising and “store wireframes” for BPC. You will ensure the customer journey is intuitive, premium, and mobile-first.
• Event Excellence & Beauty Sales
• Marquee Events: Take charge of BPC marketing operations during major platform events. You will manage visibility “stakes,” real-time slotting, and performance tracking during peak traffic hours.
• Sales Growth: Monitor daily BPC sales performance. Identify underperforming widgets or categories and suggest marketing interventions to boost revenue.
• Performance Analytics & Funnel Optimization
• Data-Driven Insights: Deep-dive into storefront metrics (CTR, Bounce Rates, Conversion) to measure the effectiveness of co-marketing efforts and platform changes.
• Funnel Optimization: Identify and correct “funnel leakages” where customers drop off, optimizing the path from search/discovery to final purchase.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 1–3 years in E-commerce Marketing, Brand Marketing, or Category Marketing. (Experience in Beauty is a major plus).
• Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work with technical and feature-development teams to improve app functionality and the customer interface.
• Project Management: Proven ability to program manage multiple stakeholders and execute complex co-marketing roadmaps on tight deadlines.
• Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel; ability to interpret data and turn it into “actionable information” to improve the search and discovery journey.
• Execution Excellence: Exceptional attention to detail—you are the final gatekeeper for “error-free” creative, search results, and link experiences.
