Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sourcing Head based in Tiruppur. The Sourcing Head will be responsible for managing all sourcing activities, including supplier management, category management, and vendor development. The role includes analyzing procurement needs, developing sourcing strategies to optimize costs, and ensuring a consistent supply of quality materials. The Sourcing Head will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure procurement objectives align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Supplier Management and Supplier Development to establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Experience in Category Management and Procurement to streamline sourcing processes and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience in the apparel or textile industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain are a plus.
