We’re looking for an Operations Manager in Kanpur who can own this entire lifecycle, from pre-launch to steady-state BAU

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager for our Quick Commerce division. This full-time, on-site role is based in Kanpur. The Operations Manager will oversee fllowng roles

Store launches — Client onboarding, site setup, infrastructure readiness, and go-live execution

Pre-launch hiring & training — Build the ground team, define SOPs, and ensure Day 1 is ready

Regulatory & licensing — FSSAI, trade licenses, municipal clearances — end to end

BAU operations — Fill rates, order TAT, shrinkage, manpower productivity, cost-per-order

Client relationship — Own escalations, QBRs, and day-to-day partner satisfaction

Playbook development — What you build becomes the template for DropX’s q-commerce expansion

Key Skills

✅ Background in quick commerce, dark store ops, e-commerce last mile, or FMCG distribution

✅ Proven experience launching and stabilising new locations

✅ Strong ground-level hiring, training, and team management

✅ Comfortable navigating regulatory processes and government liaison

✅ Metrics-first mindset — you track numbers, not just activities

✅ Exposure to Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket NOW, or similar is a strong plus

Qualifications

• Strong operational management and team leadership skills
• Proficiency in logistics, supply chain management, and process optimization
• Experience with technology-driven operational tools and platforms
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Ability to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Prior experience in quick commerce, logistics, or e-commerce is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
