BIM Coordinator / BIM Manager Full Time

With expertise in multiple BIM dimensions (2D-6D) and various Levels of Development (LOD 100-500) based on ISO19650 standards, Elephant Creations ensures accurate and efficient project execution, while delivering essential documentation such as Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP), Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP), and Responsible Matrices (RM).

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator / BIM Manager to oversee BIM implementation, multidisciplinary coordination, and project information management. The role involves managing BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with project standards and ISO 19650, coordinating between consultants, and maintaining model quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

– Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project BIM protocols.

– Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and BIM information management processes.

– Coordinate Architecture, Structure, and MEP models for clash detection and resolution.

– Manage and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) including folder structure, workflows, and data management.

– Perform clash detection using Navisworks and track issue resolution with project stakeholders.

– Conduct model health checks, QA/QC reviews, and BIM audits.

– Generate health check reports, coordination reports, and audit reports.

– Monitor BIM model development and ensure compliance with LOD requirements and project standards.

– Lead BIM coordination meetings and support consultants in resolving design conflicts.

– Oversee model federation, coordination workflows, and issue tracking.

– Provide technical guidance to BIM architects and BIM modellers.

– Coordinate with clients and consultants regarding BIM deliverables and project standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications

– Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.

– 5+ years of BIM experience in multidisciplinary project coordination.

– Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Synchro and Autodesk Forma.

– Experience in BEP creation, CDE management, clash detection, and model coordination.

– Strong understanding of ISO 19650 BIM standards and workflows.

– Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
