IT Auditor Full Time

Position: IT Auditor (For our client based in Qatar)

Location: Kochi

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years (Purely in IT Audit)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor for our client in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating IT systems, internal controls, security frameworks, and compliance processes to ensure operational effectiveness, data integrity, and risk mitigation across the organization.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field

* Professional certifications preferred:

* CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) – Mandatory/Preferred

* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience exclusively in IT Audit

* Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), cybersecurity controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks

* Experience in ERP environment audits, network security reviews, and access management audits

* Knowledge of standards/frameworks such as ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST, GDPR, and ITIL preferred

* Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and reporting skills

Job Duties & Responsibilities

* Conduct IT audits covering infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, and information security controls

* Evaluate the effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGC) and identify control gaps and risks

* Review system access controls, user privilege management, change management, backup processes, and disaster recovery procedures

* Assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards

* Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to strengthen IT governance and security posture

* Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, observations, risk ratings, and practical recommendations

* Coordinate with internal stakeholders and management to ensure timely closure of audit observations

* Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and conduct follow-up reviews

* Support external audits and regulatory inspections related to IT systems and controls

* Review cybersecurity practices and identify vulnerabilities impacting confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information

* Ensure data protection measures and business continuity controls are effectively implemented

* Stay updated on emerging IT risks, cybersecurity threats, and industry best practices
