Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Insights:
• Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and internal assessments to inform strategy development and / or strategic decisions
• Identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges impacting the Bank’s business
• Performance Metrics and Monitoring:
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure strategic progress
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
• Initiative Support:
• Lead select initiatives in large cross-functional strategic initiatives; with the oversight of the Strategy Lead
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives forward
• Provide project management support to ensure timely and effective delivery, such as tracking of actual timelines vs planned timelines, benefits / outcomes of the strategic initiatives; identification of course correction actions etc.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Support the Strategy Lead in presenting strategic updates to senior leadership
• Prepare updates for presenting to senior and top management / Board on progress of key strategic initiatives; also support Strategy Lead in mid and full year review of the Strategy
• Strategic Risk Management and Governance:
• Track and report on Strategic Risk to the Enterprise Risk Management Committee
• Support management of governance, compliance, and internal audit issues for the Strategy & Transformation unit
• Thought Leadership:
• Draft thought leadership pieces on key topics in the financial services sector for Bank consumption; with the support of other Strategy team members

Key Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in strategy development, management consulting, or banking
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Experience with strategy execution and program management
