Rebar Detailer Full Time

The Rebar Detailer will be responsible for preparing accurate reinforcement detailing drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and 3D rebar models for RCC structures based on project specifications, structural drawings, and international standards. The role requires coordination with engineers, project teams, and clients to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare rebar shop drawings and placement drawings for RCC structures
• Generate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and material take-offs
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately
• Create and modify reinforcement details for beams, slabs, columns, foundations, walls, etc.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams for RFIs and revisions
• Ensure detailing complies with project standards and international codes (US/UK/Canada standards preferred)
• Perform quality checks before submission
• Maintain project documentation and revision records
• Support BIM/Revit-based reinforcement modeling where required

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of RCC detailing and reinforcement concepts
• Hands-on experience in:
• AutoCAD
• RebarCAD / CADS RC
• Revit (preferred)
• Tekla Structures (added advantage)
• CADS-RC (Must have)
• Understanding of cast-in-place reinforcement detailing
• Experience in international projects- US/UK projects preferred
• Good communication and coordination skills
• B.Tech/BE/Diploma -Civil with 5 + years of relevant experience
