We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to support our growing digital presence. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing team to manage and grow our YouTube and Instagram channels, ensuring content is published on time, optimised for discoverability, and backed by data-driven insights. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone eager to build real-world experience in social media management.
Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Upload and schedule videos, Reels, and Shorts across YouTube and Instagram
- Write and optimise content metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, hashtags) to maximise reach and discoverability
- Ensure all content follows platform-specific best practices and brand guidelines
- YouTube: Maintain correct aspect ratios, end screens, chapters, and card links
- Instagram: Manage cover frames, alt text, and accessibility captions
- Manage day-to-day operations of YouTube and Instagram accounts
- Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions to maintain engagement
- Coordinate content calendars for consistent and timely publishing
- Track and update performance metrics using YouTube Studio and Instagram Insights
- Compile weekly and monthly reports (views, reach, engagement, followers, watch time)
- Identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Provide administrative and operational support for channel management
- Assist in brainstorming and researching content ideas
- Stay updated with algorithm changes, new features, and social media trends
