The 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer will be accountable for meeting and exceeding facility goals, which includes production, product quality, loss control and environmental issues on site in Edson AB
- Ensure equipment is used safely, effectively and efficiently to maximize production and product quality. Particular attention paid to time management, quality of work, and cleanup.
- Ability to understand and operate equipment and all aspects of the plant operation.
- Must be able to follow company policies and procedures, competency based training programs as taught by the senior union personnel.
- Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all paperwork generated by their daily duties.
- Other responsibilities as determined by the management.
- 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineering Trade Certification
- Heavy Equipment operation experience is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Safety tickets: H2s Alive, First Aid, WHMIS is considered an asset
