Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Bookkeeping & accounts:
- Maintain and update books of accounts for multiple Private Limited Company clients using Tally ERP/Zoho Books/QuickBooks
- Maintain fixed asset register and compute depreciation as per Companies Act 2013 (SLM/WDV)
- Reconcile GST liability with books and ensure Input Tax Credit (ITC) matches with GSTR-2B
- Financial statements:
- Prepare standalone Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow Statement, Notes to Accounts) as per Schedule III of the Companies Act 2013
- Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards (AS) for preparation of FS
- Prepare and close year-end books including provisions, accruals, prepaid adjustments, and audit entries
- Income tax & ITR filing:
- Compute taxable income for Private Limited Company clients under all applicable heads- Business Income, Capital Gains, etc.
- Prepare and file ITR-6 for corporate clients within prescribed due dates under the Income Tax Act 1961
